Manuela Darling-Gansser is an inveterate traveller, passionate amateur cook and writer of food and travel cookbooks. She has produced four coffee table cookbooks featuring the food, culture and lifestyle of Northern Italy, Sardegna the Swiss Alps and Sicily. She has also produced an instruction book for beginner cooks featuring her Top 10 basic recipes.
Manuela was born in Lugano, the Italian speaking part of Switzerland and now lives in Sydney Australia. She spends much of her time travelling the world, collecting recipes and travel information for her books. Her style of writing is personal, informative and involving - her recipes simple but delightful.
